Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on Choice and steady on Select on moderate to
fairly good demand and heavy offerings. Select and Choice rib, chuck, and round
cuts steady to firm. Choice loin cuts firm while Select weak. Beef trimmings 
unevenly steady on light demand and offerings.
