Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values firm on Choice and lower on Select on light to 
moderate demand and offerings. Select and Choice chuck and round cuts steady to
firm while loin cuts steady to weak. Choice rib cuts steady while Select lower.
Beef trimmings mostly moderately lower on light demand and offerings.

moderate to fairly good. Market activity is moderate.
